Kichler Lighting - Underground Lighting Hub

Balance partnered with The Technology House on a development effort for Kichler Lighting which presented several design challenges. The product had issues with respect to function, safety, ease-of-installation, and maintenance. This is not unusual for product development programs, but this commercial electrical product needed to work flawlessly—underground.

The team fielded input from real-world distributors and installers and studied industry requirements and specifications. Form and function were blended to result in an underground hub that combines quick, easy installation with distinctive styling. The successful development effort ensures that these hubs not only look great in trade publication and catalog photographs, but also perform perfectly within their isolated working environment far beneath your flower bed.
