Senior Designer

Mike joined Balance in 2008 after gaining valuable insight and knowledge at Continuum - one of the largest industrial design firms in the country.  As Senior Designer/Program Management, he brings high-level design, brand, and management experience gained while partnering with well known companies such as American Express, Colgate, and Hasbro.

Mike holds a BFA in Industrial Design from The Cleveland Institute of Art, where he was the recipient of multiple design awards.

"At a very young age I started taking things apart to see how they worked and now I find myself fortunate enough to design how they are put together. Design goes beyond the product and touches all aspects of the experience including brand, packaging, and environments. Because of this, it excites me to be part of a consultancy that delivers on all of these. I still can’t believe I get to call what I do work, it doesn’t seem fair."

When Mike is not in the studio, he can be found in his basement shop trying to coax sound out of wood as an amateur instrument maker.
